There are 2 CUP-LESS Aid Stations on the course. In an effort to reduce the amount of waste sent to the landfill, all Ascent Runs aid stations are cup free. There will be squirt bottles filled with water at every aid station for runners to use:
Genoa Peak Aid Station
(elevation ~8400 ft.) – 25 milers only (miles 10.5 & 12)
Location: Top of Sierra Canyon Trail ~.75 miles from the summit of Genoa Peak. This aid station will provide some food and drinking water for the runners.
Junction Aid Station
(elevation ~5800 ft.) – 25 milers (miles 3 & 19.5) and 8 milers (miles 3). Location: At the junction of Sierra Canyon Trail and the Discovery Trail. This is a water only aid station.
Note that all supplies to the Junction Aid Station need to be packed in and out by our aid station staff and volunteers. There is no motor vehicle access on any other section of the trail on the course except Genoa Peak.
Genoa Peak AS – 11:00AM (5 hours) cut off at Genoa Peak AS on the return trip from Genoa Peak.
Junction Aid Station: 1:00PM (7 hours)
Finish: 3:00PM (9 hours)
Finish: 10:00AM (3 hours)
